Flowers at No.10

17 January 2015We were asked by the British Florist Association to create the floral arrangements for the launch of the Institute of Professional Florists on Thursday the 15th of January at the House of Commons. Invited to attend the event were dignitaries from all sectors of the floristry industry including our Dennis. Summer antics

02 September 2014 What a bummer that we got stuck with that tail end of hurricane Bertha last month as I think it’s managed to blow away our last summer days. But now that the last Bank Holiday weekend is behind us it certainly looks like autumn is on its way. Despite the heat this summer we’ve kept busy right the way through with flower shows, weddings and events. The RHS Tatton Park Flower Show in Manchester was our last show of the season. 02 June 2014As mentioned last month I help to organise the final of the RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year competition in my role as Events Director for the British Florist Association. The final is held at the world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May and is the culmination of many months of hard work with Regional Qualifying Heats being held across the UK. This year the competitors were asked to design and create a fantasy floral dress to be worn at a crystal themed ball. I promised you some piccies, well here they are! 06 May 2014This month I will be spending most of my days at the 101st edition of the world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show. A true feast for the eye as the show will once again be bursting with the finest flowers, plants and all things floral. All in prime condition of course in the hope of securing one of the much sought after RHS medals. The show doesn’t just attract gardeners from across the UK and the globe, it also is the place to be seen for the crème de la crème and the rich & famous.
