Autumn has arrived06 October 2014Can you believe it? October is already here. It won’t be long now before we start getting ready for Christmas once again. Now that’s a scary thought. And talking of Christmas the dates for the Christmas Floral Workshops have been announced. Once again students from all levels are welcome as we take you through the paces and show you how to create a stunning fresh pine floral Christmas door wreath and centre piece for your Christmas table. These classes are taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere with plenty of time and all the materials that you need to create your design included in the price. At just £35.00 per person they make an excellent Christmas present or you and your work colleagues could make an evening of it and all join in the fun! But don’t leave it too long to decide to book as the spaces are limited and really do fill up quickly. We have a number of regulars that attend each year and their friends and family are making it a regular fixing on the annual calendar. With autumn fast approaching the wonderful oranges, reds and rusts are beginning to make their appearance on the trees and landscape outside. Last weekend we created a fabulous wedding in just those colours for a delighted bride who just loved the whole look. It’s a great buzz when you can create something with flowers that totally transforms a room. I often take for granted the beautiful flowers by which I am surrounded each day but it’s customers that bring it back down to reality when they compliment us on the wonderful selection or scent that hangs around in the shop. Funny how my nose has gotten immune to that scent but I can smell a colleagues shop a mile away and not my won. Anyway, I’m starting to ramble somewhat so time to push off and get ready for the next delivery. Enjoy the Indian summer as it looks like we’re in for a bit of a treat until the winter weather arrives.
