Dennis meets the Queen at Chelsea23 May 2012Dennis meets the Queen at the Chelsea Flower Show In his role as Events Director for the British Florist Association you will find Dennis at most of the RHS Flower Shows during the summer months. The Chelsea Flower Show is no exception where Dennis organises the RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year competition. This competition is designed for florists in the UK to enter in one of the regional heats across the UK. Only one person from each heat (the winner) qualifies to go to the final at the Chelsea Flower Show. The schedule for this year asked the competitors to create a chandelier. Her majesty the Queen came to stand during her royal visit at the show and commented on the work created by the competitors: "What beautiful pieces of work, some look like real chandeliers. The makers of these are true craftsmen".
